GDPR help
We help you with GDPR
We provide GDPR support to help you navigate a complex and often opaque legal framework. At Morling Consulting, our lawyers deliver practical advice to ensure your organisation meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Whether you are a smaller or mid-sized company, we offer expertise and guidance to ensure that the processing of personal data is lawful. Our GDPR support for small businesses is tailored and outcome-focused.
Morling Consulting’s GDPR compliance support spans from an initial assessment of current data protection practices to ongoing advisory and training, keeping your operations aligned with the latest rules and guidance. We recognise that every business has distinct needs and ways of working, so we adapt our solutions to your specific context to create measurable value.
GDPR help to secure your data and strengthen trust
A structured, well-considered approach to data protection not only drives compliance but also strengthens stakeholder confidence — customers, partners and employees alike. Proactive work with GDPR reduces the risk of costly incidents and gives you better control of information management. Key benefits of active data protection include:
- Improved security and reduced risk of personal data incidents.
- Clearer internal processes and accountability.
- Enhanced competitiveness through a resilient reputation.
- Smoother handling of data subject requests and incidents.
- Readiness for future legislative changes and rising regulatory demands.
Morling Consulting
GDPR compliance support – what we deliver
Morling Consulting offers hands-on GDPR support to interpret and apply the Regulation’s broadly framed requirements and principles. Because the GDPR is principles-based, it may not always offer the practical guidance needed to avoid reprimands, processing bans or significant fines following supervision by the Swedish Data Protection Authority (IMY). We provide:
- Initial assessment (gap analysis): We review your current practices and identify areas to improve to meet GDPR requirements.
- Policies and procedures: We develop and implement the necessary instruments, such as a privacy policy, to ensure robust data protection.
- Training and awareness: We train your staff so the organisation understands its obligations under the GDPR.
- Ongoing advisory: Continuous GDPR compliance support to keep your operations aligned with legal changes.
- Incident response: Guidance to handle and report personal data incidents appropriately.
By partnering with us, you gain a specialist team ready to help you meet the challenges — and capture the opportunities — associated with the GDPR. Morling Consulting delivers pragmatic, effective solutions that work in your business and protect your data and that of your customers. Our GDPR support for small businesses and mid-sized firms is designed to be practical, scalable and reliable.

Common questions on GDPR support
GDPR regulates how personal data may be collected, processed and stored. For your business this means, among other things, that:
- You must have a lawful basis for processing personal data.
- You must be able to demonstrate compliance (accountability).
- You must inform data subjects about how their data are used.
- Non-compliance can result in a reprimand, temporary or permanent processing bans, or significant fines.
We provide comprehensive GDPR compliance support to ensure your organisation meets GDPR requirements, including:
- Mapping and analysis of existing compliance (gap analysis).
- Drafting and updating policies and documentation.
- Staff training on data protection and GDPR.
- Ongoing legal advisory on GDPR.
- Assistance with personal data incidents and any notification to the Data Protection Authority.
It depends on the type and scale of processing. A DPO is generally required where you process sensitive data on a large scale, monitor individuals systematically and regularly, or are a public authority or body. We can assess whether a DPO is needed and can also act as your external DPO.
We have experience with cross-border application of the GDPR and can assist with advice on transfers to third countries, alignment with both domestic and international requirements, and coordination of GDPR work within groups or with overseas partners.
We offer both ongoing advisory and fixed-scope projects. Please contact us to discuss and request a proposal.
